Beauty & Energy Efficiency To Your Home
You may not think much about your windows on a day-to-day basis, but they make a big difference in your home. Besides adding natural light to your home, they also provide personal style and insulation. If you are planning to replace your windows in a remodeling project, or you are building a new home or addition and need to add windows, our team at New Heights Roofing can get the job done in a timely manner. We install replacement and new construction windows, depending on the nature of the project. Located in Concord, NH, we work with homeowners and builders across the surrounding areas.
Replacement windows are often called retrofit windows, or insert replacement windows. These windows are designed so that they can be installed from inside the home, without removing any exterior material or causing damage to the siding, wall, or trim. They will be measured and specifically made to fit the opening of your window and will just replace the window, rather than the entire frame. Replacement windows can be installed quickly and easily with minimal disruption to your home, and are generally less expensive than new construction windows.
New Construction Windows
New construction windows, sometimes called full-frame replacement windows, are used for new builds and additions, when the studs in the home are still exposed. That means, using a nail fin frame, we are able to nail windows directly onto the frame of the home. With a bit more work, we are also able to install these windows during remodeling projects if the stud and frame of the window need replacing, or if you are installing new siding.
